What has God done in your life lately?

Friday Feedback....

A few weeks ago, I was experiencing one of those days where my mental checklist was full to capacity! I had both home and ministry jobs to complete, and I had planned out the day in my mind.....

The bulldozer that arrived to tear up the concrete next door was NOT in my plan!
However, I knew that my little guy LOVES anything with wheels and would be ecstatic to watch the huge machine in action.
At that point, my schedule and checklist for the day was put on hold....the Lord clearly laid on my heart that my precious time would be MUCH better spent with my sweet son, and I chose to listen to His prodding!
It turned into such a fun time, and I was so glad I made the choice to focus on him!

So I want to hear from you:

In what ways, are you purposeful in spending time with your child/children?

We have been given such a limited time with our children, and it is VITAL that we redeem that time! I look forward to hearing YOUR creative ideas!

Friday Feedback....

I am SO excited about this week's Friday Feedback Link-up! You already know that I LOVE fall, especially the cozy decorations that go along with this time of year!! Money is pretty tight, so unfortunately I don't have lots of extra funds for decorating! Because of that, I end up using lots of leaves and candles! So, without further ado, here are some of the fall decorations in our home:

Friday Feedback....

I love being a pastor's wife! It such a blessing to be able to minister with Adam, and serve both church family members and community individuals. I would definitely say that I have been involved in quite a few areas of ministry since we've been here in PA. I've planned a Ladies Spring Brunch, taught Children's Church and AWANA, painted and decorated the foyer, planned activities for our young adults class, and even helped lay tile!!

But there is definitely one area that I love......music! Each week, 6-8 musicians get together to practice on Wednesday evening. We iron out all the details to make a smooth worship time on Sunday morning! I play the piano and sing each week, and I have so much fun doing it! It's such an honor to serve the Lord with an area that I also enjoy immensely!!
