To Know Him....

I saw this video a few weeks back at one of my favorite blogs, Biblical Homemaking. I was brought to tears as I watched.

Jesus is my passion and my purpose for my short vapor of a life here on this earth. I want to know Him!

My own little world....

I've heard this song quite a few times on our local Christian radio station. The message captivates me every time, and I wanted to share it with you today.
How often do I live life wrapped up in the needs, wants, and desires of me?? There IS a bigger picture, and we're missing out on amazing blessings if we choose to keep our world at a population of 1. 

I hope you'll be challenged to reach out to someone else in order to share Christ's love today!!

For Our Lord God Omnipotent Reigneth.....

A few of of my Facebook friends recently posted this video on their walls. I thought it was amazing for two reasons....

1. How often do you hear a full choir singing in the middle of a mall food court?? 

2. How often do you hear the incredibly powerful words, "For our Lord God omnipotent reigneth!" sung in the middle of a mall food court?

Today is a day that we remember the tragic attacks on our country that happened 9 years ago. We pray for the families who are still struggling with their loss and friends who need restoration. We thank God for his protection on our nation since that day, and beg for His continued mercy on us.
