I'm SO sorry that I've been so hit and miss with my posts lately! It seems like life, ministry, and business have all been running at full speed, and it's been hard to keep up with it all!!

Add to the busyness, 1st trimester exhaustion, and you don't have a very inspired blogger!! I'm almost into the 2nd trimester, though, and the tiredness seems to be getting a little better each day.

I hope that y'all will bear with me and my pregnancy brain! :)

Share Your Space, Church Edition.....

Last week, I posted pictures of our church's auditorium for a fun link up at Girlfriends with a Purpose. This weeks pictures are of our church's children's ministry! It would take a lot of pictures to show all of our 5 Children's ministry rooms! We have plenty of space in our building! Instead, I thought I'd share the children's ministry wing hallway instead. Last October, my brother-in-law, Jimmy came and painted a mural of the Days of Creation! I think it turned out great! The pictures aren't the greatest quality, but hopefully you can get an idea of the amazing job he did!

I walked into the living room yesterday, and found my little guy sitting on the couch playing on of his Daddy's old guitars. Listen carefully to see why I think he would want his song named "Ode to Basketball"......

Share Your Space, Church Edition.....

My friend, Rachael (great name) over at Girlfriends with a Purpose had a great idea for a link up of pictures from around our church buildings! With all the time that we spend there, you would think that I would have some more pictures than I actually do! I'm going to have to remember to take my camera with me in the next few weeks. For this week (church auditorium), I will have to make do with some pictures from a couple of years ago at my sweet husband's ordination. We were so blessed to have his family come up from Orlando, FL to share in this special time in his life. The pictures don't completely show the auditorium, but I love remembering that special day!

Why I could never be a model......

When I was a teenager, my friends used to constantly make fun of me for being a klutz! I can't tell you how many times I fell down (or up) a flight of stairs! I used to run into trash cans or trip on sidewalks, and I had the bruises to prove it!! I've gotten a little bit better in my klutziness, but when I saw this video a couple of years ago, I knew that I should never attempt any sort of modeling! If I ever did try a runway walk, this would be me:

Relevant 2010

About a month and a half ago, I was exploring several different blogs and I noticed that they all had the similar buttons on their sidebar. They looked something like this....

I had to check out what this conference was all about. I went to the Relevant Conference website to explore. I was immediately intrigued. It is not just a conference for super experienced bloggers (which I am not!), but also for those who are just starting their blogging journey (that's me!). I closed the page and went to take care of my little munchkin. Meanwhile, I kept wondering what it would be like to learn from and be encouraged by other bloggers just like me.

The next day, I found my way back to the same website to explore a little bit more. This time, I read about the purpose of the conference (here). Wow! This conference was not just for any bloggers, but those who want to glorify the Lord through their blogging!! That was me! Again, I clicked to another page and tried to forget about it.

I returned to the website one more time, and noticed that it was being held only a couple of hours away from where we live. I just had to mention it to my husband. After hearing the details, he said that he would really like me to go! In fact, he urged me to go ahead and register that evening. I was so excited that I could barely concentrate in worship practice that night. I couldn't wait to get home and register!!!

The Lord provided finances for me to go and learn more about the in's and out's of blogging, and I am so excited!! I am looking forward to the time to enhance my blogging ministry, and meet some amazing women at the same time!! See you soon!!
